Desktop screenshot
When installing on Lenovo Thinkpad T14s Gen 3, the "Leap" logo appears at the
upper right corner, but it's trimmed.
It still works from functionality POV, but it's not nice at all.
The problem is likely the screen aspect ratio. T14s has the screen size
1920x1200, while the default wallpeper for xfce is 1600x1200.
Can the artwork be adjusted to place the logo at a bit lower position?

Hi there,
I'd like to request acceptance of the new package included with our
Xfce4 distribution:
<https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/1074344>
Citing from its home page:
A modern, minimalist taskbar for Xfce.
Docklike Taskbar behaves similarly to many other desktop environments
and operating systems. Wherein all application windows are grouped
together as an icon and can be pinned to act as a launcher when the
application is not running. Commonly referred to as a dock.
You can find all details about this new package at the following URL:
<https://docs.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-docklike-plugin/start>
The only thing which I believe is missing there is the hint that you
need a (new) Xfce panel to which you add the new docklike-plugin
allowing you to easily access all your terminal related windows and/or
add your preferred applications you are usually working with.
HTH, cheers.

The example here is Citrix's Workspace App which launched via xfce4-panel
works, but does not work if one copies the entry from xfce4-panel onto ones
desktop and tries to launch it from there.
The desktop file for the xfce4-panel has been auto-generated by running
Citrix's selfservice program.
launched from xfce4-panel, the parent process being xfce4-panel, the citrix
workspace app works
thomas:~ # ps -ef
thomas 2675 2560 0 06:59 ? 00:00:31 xfce4-panel --display :0.0
--sm-client-id 21c415512-902c-4c2b-9948-e34db3a0ee27
thomas 14549 2675 0 09:40 ? 00:00:00
/opt/Citrix/ICAClient/util/storebrowse -L DeliveryController.Company-Desktop
$S1-2 -f
file:///home/thomas/.local/share/applications/Citrix_subscribed_DeliveryController.Company-Desktop%20$S1-2.desktop
https://citrix.our.company.de/citrix/company/discovery
launched from the desktop, the parent process here being thunar, the parameters
from the "Exec" Line of the desktop file are parsed differently and the citrix
workspace app does not work:
thomas:~ # ps -ef
thomas 2679 2560 0 06:59 ? 00:00:04 Thunar --sm-client-id
27dd9d8d6-3dd8-4284-a2b9-92d5daed9455 --daemon
thomas 26063 2679 0 09:43 ? 00:00:00

\$S1-2 -f
/home/thomas/Desktop/Citrix_subscribed_DeliveryController.Company-Desktop
$S1-2.desktop https://citrix.our.company.de/citrix/company/discovery
the 'Exec' lines of both desktop files are indentical (as one would expect):
thomas@thomas:~> grep Exec
"/home/thomas/.local/share/applications/Citrix_subscribed_DeliveryController.Company-Desktop
\$S1-2.desktop"
Exec=/opt/Citrix/ICAClient/util/storebrowse -L

The system tray icon for xfce4-notifyd version 0.8.1-1.1 will remain with the
red dot after reading all notices. The icon will only change back to normal if
deleting all logs. But as soon as a new notices arrives it remains with the red
dot again.

I use a 2 monitor setting (left/right) with one panel each. Each panel has a
separate set of items but both have a workplace switcher.
For both of these instances I use
Appearance: Miniature View
Number of Rows: 2
after logging out/in the first instance is double rowed O.K., but the second
instance is only single rowed.
for both plugins the file
~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/xfce4-panel.xml
contains
<property name="rows" type="uint" value="2"/>
While playing around I found out:
Whereas for the Workplace Switcher Properties "Appearance", "Show Workspace
Number" as well as for "Switch workspaces using the mouse wheel" a change of
the respective setting only modifies the chosen instance, a change in "Number
of rows" always modifies both (all?) Instances.
also, if I set
first instance: Appearance: Miniature View
second instance: Appearance: Buttons
=> Layout is preserved after logging out/in
first instance: Appearance: Buttons
second instance: Appearance: Buttons
=> Layout is preserved after logging out/in
first instance: Appearance: Buttons
second instance: Appearance: Miniature View
=> Layout is wrong (whereas first instance is double rowed O.K., second

first instance: Appearance: Miniature View
second instance: Appearance: Miniature View
=> Layout is wrong (whereas first instance is double rowed O.K., second
instance is single rowed) after logging out/in
this is regardless of the panel's row size (my default is 36px, tried as well
80px)
