[opensuse-xfce] SLIM in openSUSE (was: [Fwd: New Private Message at openSUSE Forums])
Hi! I just received a question about using SLIM in openSUSE. Any ideas? -------- Original Message -------- Hello ! I was looking today for a remplacement for gdm/kdm and saw you provide the SLiM RPM through OBS. I suppose you have it installed on your openSUSE box also ? I have some questions about it, maybe you could do a small wiki on how to install/configure it for openSUSE 11.0 ? :p According to the documentation, i coud either launch it via inittab, or add a service script for init.d. But in either cases, should I disable xdm service *AND earlyxdm* ? And what about the displaymanager configured in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager ? Should changes be done there ? Thank you for your help !
