[opensuse-web] Forum Theme Location

Hi All, For the next hackweek or maybe before (I don't know when the next hackweek is) I was planning to recolor all the additional openSUSE websites (Forums, wiki, connect, etc...) to match the new landing page and openSUSE branding guidelines more generally. I already have some work done on this. I have gone through the openSUSE github and tracked down the source code for all the themes other then the forum, if someone knows where the forum theme source code is and would be willing to let me know that would be much appreciated. Hi everyone, I'm would like to introduce myself as a new member of your community. I am a computer Science undergraduate student in junior year from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur <http://www.nitdgp.ac.in/>, India. [opensuse-web] Slow tests

Hi, I have been trying to work on test coverage but it isn't going great cause setup time before any of the tests run is just huge -_- spring saves 5-7 seconds, which amount to nothing in front of 30-40 seconds delay. It really shouldn't take a minute if i want run just one test. Delay in start is not because of file loads, besides spring recovers whatever delay file load has. What I do see is that database for test is created and removed multiple times before any of the test has run. Isn't that weird? Anyway, I am wondering if you guys knows have ever investigated this. *About PR #784 <https://github.com/openSUSE/osem/pull/784>* I know you guys don't need that but contributors like me do? You have limited travis builds only to master, now I can't run builds on branches I experiment with and may be send pull requests later on. Even current config sucks, cause every time I (or any other fork ower) updates master you guys will receive notification on irc and a mail. This means I (or every other fork) shouldn't ever update master if I want to be nice and not be cause of unnecessary notifications. Lastly, do you have bi weekly meetings? Any thoughts on gitter? The others way would be to have a local obs, branch all the package you need and build publish them for 13.1. As this depend of the reposotiry maintainer decision, and also to save build power of obs.... Getting your needed package branched inside your own repo, could help perhap but for how long... Since the leap to Leap (I couldn't resist), the frontpage of software.opensuse.org looked a bit misleading: - With only 2 ISOs to download, the javascript based accordion was simply too much. - The "alternative versions" section was also quite a non-sense - two Javascript-powered links just to end up in a link to the wiki. - References to the "type of computer" or mentioning 32 bits in the help text didn't help much either So, as you can see, I redid the layout a little bit https://software.opensuse.org/421 For old versions, the old layout is still used https://software.opensuse.org/132/ I kept the changes to a minimal with the intention of not adding or changing any string in order not to break translations. But I think it's time to go one step further. I think we need a new layout with: - Rephrased/updated text for several sections. Like this https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=953927 - A clear indication that the official images are 64 bits only - Reasonably prominent links (with the corresponding short explanations) to the unofficial ports[1] and to the derivatives. https://github.com/openSUSE/software-o-o/issues/39 - A layout that works better in languages with long strings. For example, the current layout looks slightly broken in Spanish. I'm not talking about a visual redesign (I know some people is already trying to tweak the CSS to make it more consistent with the landing page). I'm talking about rearranging the elements and phrasing everything in a better way, so we are more consistent with the current reality. Contributions are welcome as pull requests, but also as text snippets, mock-ups, sketches or simply lists of things to take into account. Thanks. Hello Again, I have not heard anything back about this. Is this where I go to get this resolved? Could you please tell me who is over support for the OpenSUSE wiki's. If this is the place, here is some more info. Here are the system Requirements for mediawiki now. Unless there is a response to this that says otherwise, I will start updating stage using the new release 1.25.3 on (Oct, 28) and will push the upgrade to production early November.
