Hello I am building some kmps for Wlan. Now I hav a question about the new SLE Update Repo in Leap 15.2. I do not find the Repository-Path to build my drivers against this Repo. I have now SUSE:SLE-15-SP3:Update/pool-leap-15.3 as path, but I think its not the right one. See: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:Sauerland:hardware Stephan

Thanks for the input!
I've meanwhile tried the following:
1) Blacklisted ath11k and ath11k_pci, which disabled both Bluetooth(!) and Wi-Fi on the official Tumbleweed 5.12.10 kernel. That still produced the same error as shown before upon hibernation and, of course, hibernation also failed.
Then it might be a different problem with BT. You've tested my kernel in OBS home:tiwia:bsc1180985. But it contains a couple of downstream patches. Could you try testing the kernel in OBS home:tiwai:kernel:5.10 as well? Also home:tiwai:kernel:5.11, too, with ath11k blacklisting. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Thanks, that's a good information. Actually this is already fixed in the upstream subsytem, bluetooth-next.git repo commit da68ad722e54ce86fa6f87829cf60d12201cdfaa Bluetooth: btqca: Don't modify firmware contents in-place
I'm rebuilding a test kernel with the backported patch in the same OBS repo, home:tiwai:bsc1187472. It'll be kernel-default-5.12.12-*.g43254cf. Please give it a try later. If this works, I'll push to stable branch.
FWIW, the compressed firmware files should work after this patch. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Bluetooth still works on your test kernel!
Good to hear. It indicates that the commit 2be43abac5a8 ("Bluetooth: hci_qca: Wait for timeout during suspend") is buggy and still causes a problem in the latest code. Then the next step is to inform this regression to the upstream again, and try to find a proper resolution... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. I'm building yet another test kernel in OBS home:tiwai:bsc1187472-3 repo. It contains a debug patch instead of the previous revert. The suspend should work with this after a slight delay, and you'll have a few kernel messages with "XXX ...". Please give dmesg outputs.
I get very little output here: after boot: [ 17.110280] XXX Set QCA_IBS_DISABLED at qca_setup [ 18.610597] XXX Clear QCA_IBS_DISABLED at qca_setup after resume: [ 69.103729] XXX Set QCA_IBS_DISABLED at qca_setup [ 70.588686] XXX Clear QCA_IBS_DISABLED at qca_setup Bluetooth remains working after resume, Wi-Fi dysfunctional. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. Ah, I forgot to mention: please add no_console_suspend boot option.
Adding that option didn't change anything in terms of output prepended with XXX, however I got a stacktrace: [ 71.091009] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [ 71.091047] Hardware became unavailable upon resume. This could be a software issue prior to suspend or a hardware issue. Hrm then I'm rebuilding a test kernel again in the same OBS repo. At this time, it'll fail to suspend, but it'll show more messages. Please test it with no_console_suspend boot option. The new kernel should be 5.13.12.
Still just getting this: before hibernate: [ 17.617213] XXX Set QCA_IBS_DISABLED at qca_setup [ 19.126279] XXX Clear QCA_IBS_DISABLED at qca_setup after resume: [ 72.766062] XXX qca_power_remove called [ 81.796634] XXX Set QCA_IBS_DISABLED at qca_setup [ 83.311443] XXX Clear QCA_IBS_DISABLED at qca_setup Just to make sure I'm not mistaking something here: I still have hci_uart blacklisted and manually modprobe it on login. My main concern currently is that Wi-Fi isn't working after resume, while Bluetooth still works and it seems that the stacktrace I added before might have something to do with the Wi-Fi issue? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. Please drop blacklist. It's really only for tracking the suspend/resume problem with BT UART HCI, so the purpose is to fail to suspend and see what causes it failing.
About WiFi: please forget about it for now. It's handled in a different bug entry.
I've removed my blacklisting trick and 'unfortunately' have nothing more to report. The console output remains the same but Bluetooth kept working for 5 consecutive boot cycles. As in booting with a full power off in between. So it looks like the bug I had with Bluetooth is somehow already resolved in that 5.13.12 kernel? Also, hibernate worked and Bluetooth kept working after resume but still no Wi-Fi after resume. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
