Unfortunately, I'm incapable of building the kernel from the git repo directly,
as I always end up with the following errors during build:

arch/x86/entry/thunk_64.o: warning: objtool: missing symbol table
make[2]: *** [scripts/Makefile.build:360: arch/x86/entry/thunk_64.o] Error 1
make[2]: *** Deleting file 'arch/x86/entry/thunk_64.o'

make: *** [Makefile:1805: arch/x86] Error 2

I'm afraid, I can't be of further help at the moment.
Please tell me, when there is anything else I can do to support fixing this
issue!
