Dear all,
next Monday August 10, we plan to migrate email services
for "opensuse.org" away from the current SUSE mailservers
(mx[12].suse.de] and on to our two new mail servers "mx1.opensuse.org"
and "mx2.opensuse.org", which I finished setting up beginning of July.
Primary services affected are:
- mailing lists
- member aliases forwarding
Apart from a minimal interruption at the time of switch-over, neither
service should really see much effect of the migration, but you never
know.
…
[View More]The new setup includes spam- and virus filtering, selective greylisting,
inbound and outbound TLS support, and an SRS daemon.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to write to me or to
the Heroes list.

Hi,
We are currently planning out the migration from mlmmj to mailman 3. We
have been discussing moving lists over from opensuse-$list(a)opensuse.org
to $list(a)lists.opensuse.org (and potentially allowing subprojects to use
their own domains), for both collision and aesthetic reasons. We would
like to hear your input.
Thanks in advance,
LCP [Stasiek]

Hello Folks,
first of all, thanks for your availability!
I'm resending a plain text message given that the previous with the
calendar invitation has been rejected.
Let me try to recap a bit the reason for this meeting.
Goal: have a shared understanding of what it's required from a GDPR
point of view, define/address responsibilities and have a common
workflow.
As preparation, this is the existing documentation of processes
started by the Heroes:
https://progress.opensuse.org/projects/…
[View More]opensuse-admin-wiki/wiki/GDPR
The following is just an agenda proposal for moderating the
discussion. Feel free to integrate/change what it's required.
Agenda proposal:
* Attendees' introduction and role in openSUSE/SUSE
* GDPR overview
* What is "personal data"
* What is "processing of personal data"
* What we (openSUSE/SUSE) are processing
* Who has access to that data
Next steps:
* Documents to be signed by people with access to personal data
* Checklist
* Register of processes
The meeting room will be: https://meet.opensuse.org/BeHeroes
Day: 2020-08-06
Time: 19.00 UTC
Thank you all for your time.
Happy hacking and have a lot of fun,
Marina

I've been hearing funny noises after shutdown, that must be it :-)
