And now I'm really puzzled what your intention is - you strarted the thread with "remove all mirrors" and now you want even more stuff noone downloads? Hello, We are a OpenSUSE mirror in China and we recently found the upstream URL rsync://stage.opensuse.org/opensuse-full-with-factory/opensuse/factory/repo… results in a link pointing to ../../source/factory/repo/non-oss. However, the "source" directory does not exist instage.opensuse.org, so we cannot rsync it. This link works well in http://download.opensuse.org/ Could you please fix the invalid symlink? Hello, Please remove Argonne National Laboratory from your list of OpenSUSE mirrors. We regret to inform you that public access to the Argonne software mirror will no longer be available as of February 1, 2015. The following websites will no longer be accessible from the Internet: * http://mirror.anl.gov * http://mirror.mcs.anl.gov * http://mirror.ipv6.anl.gov This applies to access via the HTTP, FTP, and rsync protocols. This was a difficult decision as the Argonne public software mirror has been one of the more popular mirrors in North America for open source software, receiving millions of unique visits a year. However, it has expanded beyond the core scope and mission of the Laboratory, which is to perform world-class scientific research. [suse-mirror] Unknown rsync module request from stage.o.o.

Hi, Regarding anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk: I'm seeing stage.opensuse.org attempting to use a non-existing rsync module, I'm guessing for mirrorbrain scans: rsyncd[20377]: unknown module 'opensuse-distribution' tried from stage.opensuse.org (195.135.221.130) We're providing entire download.opensuse.org tree via rsync as: rsync://anorien.csc.warwick.ac.uk/download.opensuse.org/ Does that need to be split into sub-modules? Mirror_howto seemed unclear. Does the mirrorbrain scanner need to be updated at your end? We're already using push for buildservice and that seem to be working correctly.
