Hi, Some noticed zypper ref errors on TW after publishing of the snapshot a few minutes ago. Looks like for some reason http://mirror.lzu.edu.cn/ was the fastest one to pick up the metadata and was the only one for a while but returned 404 even though listed on http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/repodata/cba5409cbab9b2787… Maybe only works in China and needs to be disabled for other locations? cu Ludwig -- (o_ Ludwig Nussel //\ V_/_ http://www.suse.com/ SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, GF: Felix Imendörffer HRB 36809 (AG Nürnberg)

Planned outage at 2021-08-02 of rsync.opensuse.org

Hi Mirror Admins We plan to upgrade the storage capacity of rsync.opensuse.org from 19TB to 42TB next Monday, 2021-08-02, starting at 10:00 CEST. The work is expected to finish 2 hours later, around 12:00 CEST. During this time, rsync.opensuse.org will not be available as usual. Please switch to other mirror servers listed at https://mirror.opensuse.org/ during this time. We will update you here, if we need to change our plan. Hi, about a month ago Marcus Meissner reported to this list that http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/15.3/backports/ was not mirrored. As of today, the mirroring is still not happening. Example: https://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/update/leap/15.3/backports/ https://mirrors.edge.kernel.org/opensuse/update/leap/15.3/backports/ are empty. Regards, Giacomo

Leap downloads are broken ticket poo#94273

Hello openSUSE! seems like the redirect for Leap doesn't work as expected. People are reporting that they're getting 404 for All Leap downloads. Same for me (I get redirected to widehat.opensuse.org which then returns 404). As an example would be any file from https://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.3/iso/ Seems like this is a very recent issue. I did open the high priority ticket for Heroes as I couldn't see any public item in the openSUSE admin queue. openSUSE Leap 15.3 - GM images are already available. Announcement on 2nd June.

Hello mirror admins, I'd like to notify you about next weeks release announcement for openSUSE Leap 15.3 The final GM Build (160.3) including images is already for about two days on download.opensuse.org. You get notification now because we've just eliminated last potential ship stopper. openSUSE Leap 15.2 retrospective showed us that hiding GM images causes more issues to mirrors than we'd like to. For this reason, we've decided not to hide GM images anymore. Final Leap 15.3 images are already available here https://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.3/iso/ It doesn't mean that Leap 15.3 is GA as we aim with important maintenance updates on June 2nd when we'd like to announce global availability. I hope that you appreciate our new release model, which should make your life hopefully easier. As a side note, We're still making sure that download-o-o is in shape (currently few issues with appliances), however, iso and rpm repositories are final. MirrorBrain scanner is stuck

Dear openSUSE infra team, I think the MB scanner is stuck and it does not update the file lists. I also see the normal scanner connections from 195.135.221.170 on opensuse dir and on the isos. My mirror hasn't received a single iso or package (ZYpp) download since yesterday morning.
