[heroes] meeting for wiki project in Provo

Dear openSUSE heroes I am happy to see our team growing. So I have to explain for all new people how our team arose: In the last months we have got a lot of wiki spam and there have been problems with a admin in Provo. Many of our servers are hosted there. The result was a meeting at the openSUSE conference: https://news.opensuse.org/2016/07/25/introducing-opensuse-heroes/ The mailing list was created and our wiki project is going on... First hardware arrived (not all) and we have to plan the next steps. We should have a meeting via IRC (opensuse-admin). How about doing it next Saturday at 4:00 PM? Is the time ok for you? All new openSUSE heroes who want to contribute to our wiki setup are welcome, too! I studied the brief procedure for adding a new list - I can see "lists[45].opensuse.org", but not "baloo.opensuse.org" ? It looks like you painted over something with the wrong color. Can you send me the picture in the original format (I'd guess GIMP xcf)? I can make it scalable (by converting it to SVG) so that we can use it everywhere without loosing quality. I also tend to use the Fifth Leg font [1] instead of a "normal" sans serif, but that's something we can easily change once it is a SVG. Regarding the ml admin, we can split the work into two parts, the social and the technical part. So a "social ml admin" can be pretty much everyone, without even any technical background. Regarding the "technical ml admin", I had a discussion about it today with my team, and it seems the need to be a SUSE employee is not needed any more. There are plenty of parts that are public, there are parts that can become public, and there are parts that will need to remain private. Thus, if a non-SUSE employee wants to help on this, is more than welcome and we'll be willing to collaborate to make more parts of this service public. Theo
