Who can update DNS for me? google is rejecting our outgoing messages to gmail (and other hosted domains), most probably because 2620:113:80c0:8::16 has no PTR record. [heroes] Reminder: IRC meeting tomorrow

Hello, since I only got "doesn't matter" answers regarding the date, the next Heroes IRC meeting will be tomorrow (2018-05-01) at 20:00 CEST / 18:00 UTC in #opensuse-admin. [heroes] next meeting - date?

Hello, following our usual schedule, our next IRC meeting will be on May 1st (20:00 CEST / 18:00 UTC), however May 1st is a public holiday at least in Germany. Personally, I don't care too much about this detail ;-) but maybe others do, so we could move the meeting by a week (= May 8th). If you have a strong preference for one of the dates, please reply with your prefered date. If nobody replies or the majority is ok with May 1st, we'll stay with that day. [heroes] IPv6 range has changed for the Nuremberg machines

Hello, just a heads up, we got new IPv6 range from MF-IT for the Nuremberg machines, so darix and I updated the ipv6 addresses for all of those machines. While we changed the addresses on DNS, we let both the old and the new address on the machines themselves to minimize DNS propagation issues. We plan to remove them on Friday morning. Please let me know if anything is wrong. Theo

Before taking openFATE offline, I think there needs to be an e-mail shot to all requesters and people who registered their interests to show the community that we value their feedback and ideas and to give requesters and interested people a chance to move their requests to where they belong now (the e-mail and the opensuse wiki should explain this) and/or start implementing features. At least 3 months notice should be given. In the meantime, the error message should be updated. All, we have a mirror issue, and I can't figure it out. I'll take a closer look a little later today, but I thought I would put it out here - a) mirror.hostsuisse.com (my own mirror) is not listed (on mirrors.o.o) for tumbleweed, but we are still serving lots of tumbleweed. "mb mirrorlist hostsuisse" shows a negative on all TW.
