I have a solution that will do this for you. It involves the smtp-virus script that someone questioned me about a few days ago when I asked about the manpath bug. I will make a posting to the list with a site for download and intructions on how it works next week. I have no time right now as I'm right in the middle of a migration to active directories on a win2k network.. eep the solution I have uses obtuse smtpd, AVP (to scan for virsues) and sendmail plus some custom perl scripts to do the duplication.. It is currently running on a 500 node network with no problems... AMViS Intrusion

helo, hope you can help. I got the messages "AMViS intrusion" from the virusalart user. Nothing in the Message Body, no attachments, only the Header with "Amavis intrusion" Whats going on here ? Does anybody know what this messages exactly means ? missing kmulti &wrong checksums

Hello, I finally wanted to install some 'recent' patches for SuSE 6.1 (kernel 2.2.16 and kmulti-1.1.2). I didn't get far: a) no kmulti in the referenced directory: ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/6.1/kde1/kmulti-1.1.2-141.i386.rpm although in the index of the directory it is listed still. b) wrong md5 checksum for lx_suse.rpm: 41bde34659d93214af2cf5da6e7e2896 according to web site for ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/6.4/kernel-.2.16/lx_suse.rpm But I got: c8ecc307942b90e84c4e6058e3ade419 Can someone tell me where to get kmulti and what to make of the differing checksums? Kernel security patch

You can find more info on www.samspublishing.com wich publishes this book. It's a real good book and it includes a CD with some powerfull (probably outdated:) tools!
