Wrong md5 for lprold?

Dear SuSE-Team, I am not able to verify the md5 checksum for the package lprold (SuSE 6.1, i386, see security announcement below). After trying out to download the file multiple times from ftp.suse.com, instead of a40c4313756d5b3870fd4bd90e74bc32 ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/6.1/n1/lprold-3.0.48-0.i386.rpm I get the following checksum: # md5sum lprold-3.0.48-0.i386.rpm 759c041c44631fabf0f1d069a92fc8f1 lprold-3.0.48-0.i386.rpm Has anyone else been able to correcty verify the checksum? I am not going to install the package until the issue is resolved, but disable lpd completely. The md5 checksum for the Alpha package (6.1) seems to be ok. Firewall script in SuSE 6.3

I have installed the above and configured it, (Just with a very simple config to disallow almost everything), but, when I run '/sbin/init.d/firewall start' I get the message, Starting Firewall Initialization: Warning: you must enable IP forwarding for packets to be forwarded at all: Use `echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward' I have already enabled IP Forwarding in yast and re-started but I try it anyway - it accepts it but when I then run 'firewall start' again it says the same thing. Probleme mit Postfix bei Update auf SuSE 6.3

Hallo zusammen, heute morgen habe ich mein SuSE 6.1 auf 6.3 upgedated. Dabei hatte ich einige kleinere und größere Probleme, die ich gerne mal loswerden möchte. Eventuell kann SuSE einige Verbesserungen in zukünftigen Versionen erreichen. Zunächst gibt es einfach keine Zurück-Funktion beim Update. Falls man sich aus Versehen mal vertan hat, kann man zwar Abbruch wählen, aber auf die vorherige Seite kommt man nicht zurück (um den Fehler zu beheben)! So geschehen, nachdem ich das Basissystem upgedated hatte und mich um die Packages kümmern wollte. Zum Abschluß des Updates wurde ich gebeten ein Kernel auszusuchen, mit dem ich demnächst gerne booten würde. Da ich bestimmte Komponenten einsetze war eine Kernel-Kompilierung eh nötig, so daß ich dieses umgangen habe. Leider ist beim Update irgendwie mein altes Kernel-Konfigurationsfile abhanden gekommen, was mir die Auswahl aus den unzähligen neuen Parametern nicht einfacher machte. Aber kommen wir zum eigentlichen Problem. Nach einem Reboot startete das Postfix-Mailsystem nicht mehr. Auch eine komplette Deinstallation (nach Sicherung der Konfigurationsdateien) und erneute Installation brachte keine Abhilfe. Bei der Untersuchung der Vorgänge stieß ich darauf, daß im Verzeichnis /usr/lib/postfix die Dateien postlog und postsuper gesucht, aber nicht gefunden wurden. Nach Erzeugung dieser Dateien (mit entsprechenden Rechten) ließ sich Postfix mit "/etc/rc.d/postfix start" starten. Nun konnte ich schon mal Mails versenden, aber noch keine empfangen (siehe folgenden Ausschnitt). Leider ließ sich dieser Eintrag nicht durch Ausführung von "newaliases" bestätigen, da das Tool eine ausführbare Datei "postalias" im Verzeichnis /usr/lib/postfix benötigte. Ein Link auf das Programm /usr/sbin/postalias brachte den gewünschten Erfolg. Danach konnte ich wieder Mails empfangen. Letztendlich gab es noch ein kleineres Problem mit procmail, aber dann habe ich die neue Version auf dem SuSE-Server gefunden. Vielleicht weiß ja jemand von euch, wo mein Problem lag ?!
