Hi, i just finished installing suse and so far all looks great. How ever i'm a very slow braille reader and want some speech output. I downloaded the rpm for mbrolla from the suse site but can't fi8ugre out how to get sbl to use it. Any ideas or comment would be very helpful. thanks much rob

Hi, I wasn't aware that Suse 7.3 has been released. <g> Does Suse 7.3 have standalone speech support, that is can it be used with speech alone without having to have a Braille display conected at the same time? cheers, Doris

What driver for braille Top (HANDITEC)

Hi, I have a BrailleTop from HANDITEC and I use it without any problem with suse 7.0 in the past. Today I wish to use it with BRLTTY directly. i have configured and compiled BRLTTY with Vario-HT driver but the BrailleTop does not work. Is someone here using a such display with Suse and then can he/she tell me what is the good driver to use ? Thank in advance. hi leslie, i myself have a "powerbraille 65(80" and may be you could try the "brltty"-file to run your braille display under Blinux. hope that was useful. Ferdinand

FastTrack100 TX4

I recently purchased SuSE 7.3 and am trying to install it. The problem I'm having is with my Raid. I'm using the Promise Fasttrak100 tx4 and at installation boot it freezes while detecting the drives (gives me an part table error). Seems to me that I need to have the driver for the controler installed for SuSE 7.3 to proceed. I tried looking on Promise's site and they do have linux drivers (ft.o), but not for SuSE 7.3 only 7.1 and 7.2. Emailserver

I am setting up an email server for unix and I have found several open source or free ones but I was wondering about SuSE's email server. Is there a free version or can I get a discount for being a student. And what about the ftp directory with an email server it says its SuSE IMAP server I only see files for version 2.0 what is this? Ali P.S. Please repond to my message about the cd directory trees.
