It's great that the opensuse-arm mailing list has been created.
The best options to use are:
The Pandaboard (Dual Core Cortex A9 TI OMAP4430):

Or more the Toshiba AC100 (Dual Core Cortex A9 Tegra 2)(which will be more
complicated).
