[opensuse-arm] JeOS-2017-03-13 image for RPi 1 installs OK, Grub fails on reboot

But when I reboot, grub fails with: error: attempt to read or write outside of partition. and drops me to the grub rescue system. Poking around the rescue system, I've found that I can see 4 partitions, one which is ext2 and has the normal Linux files. From here, most of the recovery guides say to set the root and prefix variables and then load the normal module. I can execute the commands: set root=(hd0,gpt2) set prefix=(hd0,gpt2)/boot/grub2 and list the files in the various directories - normal.mod exists in /boot/grub2/arm-efi/ - but when I try: insmod normal I still get the error: attempt to read or write outside of partition. Somewhat interestingly, if I miss-type the prefix (say; /boot/grub) the error changes to a "file not found" one. [opensuse-arm] Larger number of rebuilds for openSUSE:Leap:42.3:Ports

[opensuse-arm] Custom Raspberry PI3 kernel modules

I am looking at making a custom Raspberry PI3 kernel module that needs to deal with the various I/O pins. I need a driver because the activity is quite high. So a python or other high-level interface will not be possible. It will most likely do the majority of work in the driver's interrupt routine that, I hope, can be called when a pin or pins change state. My questions are: 1. Has anyone experienced any difficulties with making custom drivers on openSUSE running on the Pi3? 2. Are there any drivers that are being loaded by openSUSE that fiddle with the I/O lines that I may need to disable? Currently, nothing is connected to the I/O lines. 3. [opensuse-arm] Enabling WiFi on RPi3

Last year I was able to enable WiFi on my RPi3. The problem at that moment was the unavailable firmware files. These files are now available in Tumbleweed, however I can't find how to load these files in order to have a wlan0 device. I found a script /usr/sbin/install-brcmfmac, but I can't find how and where this script is called. [opensuse-arm] Aarch64 openQA workers are broken

Hi, obviously the os-autoinst package installed on the workers has been built against perl 5.24.*1*, while the installed perl is 5.24.0. As a result, perl does not find the tinycv.pm module and fails to start. Hello, Could somebody please tell me whether raspberrypi2 image supposed to work on raspberrypi3 in armv7 mode? I've just tried but I don't see anything on serial console, even u-boot messages.
