Syntactically, yes, Apex is similar to Java. If you can program in Java, you are really close to being a freelance Apex developer! But no, this is not Java. It is compiled like Java; it has a Java Virtual Machine in the background and somewhere, but it's not a full-fledged VM, only the part of it.
If you want to get hired as a freelance Apex developer, then you must develop some essential skills, like:
Fundamental object-oriented programming concepts.
Basic knowhow of C# and JavaScript.
MVC style of designing.
Data management, modelling.
Visualforce and Apex fundamentals.
Lightning framework.
Developer console.
Web services, SQL, Salesforce Object Query Language.
You can get lucrative Apex projects on Eiliana.com, where top global clients hire Apex developers for challenging projects. Sign up with Eiliana today!

Hey people,
I finally managed to get Leap 15.6 installed on the eMMC of a Turing RK1.
TLDR: Flash the official Firmware image to the eMMC, delete all
partitions but the first one (bootloader) and then boot from USB Stick.
My solution was to use the provided bootloader from the official image,
and then install the main OS alongside it on the eMMC. This works
flawlessly.
My main confusion point was to recognize, that the bootloader needs to
be on the eMMC. This is actually documented in [1]. Without it, there is
no output or anything when booting, it simply won't do anything.
I installed my RK1 within my Turing Pi cluster. I used Node 4, so I
could just plug in a USB Stick with Leap 15.6 into the USB3 ports and
boot from there. The boot order of the firmware bootloader is NVMe >
SATA > USB > eMMC [1]. The typical YaST installation works without any
issues.
Here's how the partitions of the installed system look like:
vela-rk:~ # parted /dev/mmcblk0

I see regular updates to the kernel, etc, but they don't seem to
address rpi5. I still haven't found an image I can do anything useful
with.
Has anyone had any success?? Are any other distributions, besides the
Debian/Ubuntu from RP, working?

Checksum of image in repository /devel:/ARM:/Factory:/Contrib:/Pine64/images/ is wrong

I downloaded and tried to use the image
openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-JeOS-pine64.aarch64.raw.xz
in fact 2024.03.15-Build9.20 on a Banana Pi M64. It starts OK but a reboot
gives errors.
I also found that the checksum in the .sha256 files differs from the checksums
calculated from the images.

Why do ARM images for Leap 15.6 have names with 15.5 in the file name?

Looking in http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.6/appliances,
which obviously is about Leap 15.6 I only find file names with 15.5 in the
names. Why?

invalid state (stored as a list instead of a str) after an
earlier read raised DuplicateSectionError or
DuplicateOptionError.

wrong timestamps or garbage. (#3910)

in the filter would make it error early. (#3959)
* GStreamer

timestamps.
* Docs
