Hi,
during this hackweek I was working on getting the 3.11 based kernel
running on raspi and packaged for opensuse. So, here it goes and boots!
obs://home:dsterba:ARM:RaspberryPi kernel-raspberrypi
The kernel sources are based on 13.1 branch, the raspberry patch itself
is a blob created from github upstream 3.11.y and the config is merged
from the existing 3.6 opensuse kernel and upstream bcmrpi_defconfig.
I have a local kernel git branch of the raspi changes so this could be
merged to factory after it's cleaned up.
Based on Bernhard's image raspberrypi-opensuse-20130907.img, booted
there, installed kernel, replaced kernel.img with zImage-3.11..

moin,
i'm setting up a private instance of OBS to compile ARMv7 binaries within
qemu-arm (on an x86_64 machine).
As i unterstand, i have to provide a custom emulator.sh script for build,
i.e. replace/edit this
https://github.com/openSUSE/obs-build/blob/master/emulator/emulator.sh
I couldnt find any documentation on the specific role of that script (other
than "it starts up the emulator").
Can somebody point me to some documentation or maybe even provide me with an
emulator.sh script that starts up qemu with the correct parameters?
Is there any other documentation on how to setup OBS+QEMU for ARM? I found
some old concepts in the wiki, some slides and some stuff on the maemo site,
but it all seems rather outdated...
I'd appreaciate any pointers you could give me...
Thanks in advance! :)

Hi,
Could you trigger rebuild of:
* libyui-ncurses-pkg : to fix libzypp dep which has a newer version now.
* glib2-branding-openSUSE : to fix gio-branding-openSUSE dep.
This will fix JeOS image deps.
I think there is a problem in spec file because we should rebuild them automatically. No?
Moreover, non rootfs images have another error, related to kiwi:
"nothing provides ERROR_NO_BOOT_CONFIG_FILE_FOUND needed by kiwi-desc-oemboot-requires, nothing provides ERROR_NO_DEPENDENCIES_FOUND needed by kiwi-desc-oemboot-requires"
Any idea why? I know we already had this error in the past. Cannot remember if it was due to an OBS config or a kiwi problem.

Hi,
raspberrypi-gfx and mesa provide openGL ES libs and devel files. So, there are file conflicts. Should we add a "Conflicts:" line in raspberrypi-gfx spec file?
Or is there a better way to avoid problems?
