Hello, On the armStoneA8 board, using NBoot V14 and U-Boot, I'm trying to boot the downstream 3.3.7 kernel (BSP V1.1) from SD with a LimeJeOS rootfs on SD. I had to reconfigure the kernel with CONFIG_LBDAF to mount the ext3[*] rootfs r/w. Hi all, I want to use owncloud (http://www.owncloud.org) on a Pandaboard. Since "zypper se owncloud" does not found anything and the OBS does not provide an ARM version, I guess I have to install it manually, right? [opensuse-arm] Network interface not coming up at boot time on CuBox

One thing I've been noticing on the CuBox is that, at each reboot, the network interface is not brought up. Strangely, the system tries to set up ethX where X increments by one at each reboot. For example, I now see the following in /var/log/boot.log: network[398]: Setting up (localfs) network interfaces: network[398]: lo network[398]: lo IP address: 127.0.0.1/8 network[398]: ..done eth4 network[398]: No configuration found for eth4 network[398]: ..unusedWaiting for mandatory devices: eth0 network[398]: 26 25 24 23 22 21 20 19 18 17 16 15 14 13 12 [...] network[398]: eth0 No interface found network[398]: ..failed The last time, eth3 was involved; before that eth2. Next time it will be eth5. In yast (network settings), there were two interfaces - eth0 and eth4 (not configured). I deleted eth0 and configured eth4 (basically just set it to dhcp rather than static). After saving, the network was back up again. Any idea what is causing this? Hi list, We now have 2 new community supported platforms: Arndale Board The Arndale board is the first widely available virtualization capable system in the ARM world. It runs on a a dual-core Samsung Exynos 5 with 1.7 Ghz (unstable, so it's throttled to 1.4Ghz and according to Linaro reports even needs to go down to 1Ghz to be stable) which is based on Cortex A15! It has KVM support, SATA, USB 3.0 and ethernet. That board is the perfect build node for OBS. Retail price is $250. http://en.opensuse.org/HCL:Arndale Samsung Chromebook The Samsung Chromebook is also based on a dual-core Exynos 5, but runs stable at 1.7Ghz. It does not have KVM enablement in the software stack yet, but that is WIP effort. However, it has a screen, keyboard and battery built in, so it's easy to carry around. It also features USB 3.0 for fast I/O. It is a full-fledged notebook and the perfect openSUSE community device, as it is a desktop that's powerful enough for every day use. [opensuse-arm] 12.2 release on Pandaboard ES - How to finish first startup?

Hi, I try to run the 12.2 release (http://download.opensuse.org/ports/armv7hl/distribution/12.2-untested/appli…) on a Pandaboard ES, but I can't finish the first startup. On the debug console I get following output (with CuteCom on KDE): http://paste.opensuse.org/b4bcc042 At the end of the output YaST2 is started automatically and until then the output is hard to read. It looks like a language selection dialog... When I start the Pandaboard with a HDMI connection to a TV I see two penguins and after a while a black screen. I can switch to text consoles with CTRL+Fx, but there is only a blinking cursor (underline symbol) at the upper left corner. Any help would be appreciated! Is $arcNumber not set up correctly on your local NVRAM? Also, this still breaks after your first reboot, because the boot script gets regenerated on first boot. Furthermore, this change only gets 12.2 working for you, but still fails on Factory. [opensuse-arm] mini packages offered for upgrade

Hi: Apparently there is a bug in the OBS configuration for openSUSE:Factory:ARM systemd-mini and udev-mini are being offered in the public repo and zypper wants to install them b/c is there are broken dependencies and/or the project is not in sync with openSUSE:Factory.
