Hi, Now MLO and u-boot are correctly installed in image but I have a new problem with Factory JeOS beagle image. First strange thing is that on first boot (at least), clocks seem to be bad. cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep BogoMIPS returns 175.65 (instead of 262.08) when idle, and cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep BogoMIPS returns 467.41 (instead of 700.57) when full. Moreover, Eth0 is detected but does not get any connection (and LEDs stay off). Hi, Does anybody thought about kernel preemption for ARM boards? It could be usefull since kernel preemption is intended to embedded system or (Low-latency) Desktop. Moreover, If we want to enable openGL on omap4 (pandaboard), we need a preemptible kernel. Is there any objection to move to a preemptible kernel for omap2plus? For other ARM boards? Hi, JFYI, to complete the armv5tel architecture switch, I have triggered a complete rebuild of openSUSE:Factory:ARM for armv5 NOTE: rpm/zypp will handle armv5el and armv5tel as incompatible architectures. So you either need to manual update the rpm.rpm package with --ignorearch to do the switch when a new rpm tree is out there. Or just wait for the new appliances. Wotcha! I've been playing with a BeagleBoard (rev C) that I happen to have around t= he place and I've been trying to run OpenSUSE on it. Now, it boots and I ca= n login on the serial port, but the graphical environment doesn't want to p= lay. Hi, With latest factory: openSUSE-Factory-ARM-beagle.armv7l-1.12.1-Build41.2.raw.xz Beagleboard xM does not boot because no MLO is found. (60 is written on serial port which means no MLO on SD, trying UART boot) With 12.2 image: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/12.2:/ARM/images/openSU… It boots normaly. Any idea? Hi, libqt4 failed to build for both armv5 and armv7 in Factory. For armv7, it seems to be due to build-armv7-with-double-qreal.diff patch which lead to a double declaration of a function. I think we should instead use "-fpu no" (or softvfp, vfpv2 or softvfp+vfpv2?) option for configure? But I am not sure it will be really used. Hi, I am looking at auto-generation of XFCE images kiwi files (as it is done for JeOS) and I have some questions. XFCE-panda.kiwi has JeOS panda packages + XFCE / xorg specific packages + manual resolution of recommended packages + multiple choices. In XFCE specific packages, we have : openSUSE-release-usb-x11 which is provided by no package (at least for factory). Can we remove it ? What is it used for ? I think manual resolution of recommended packages is needed to be sure they are available when generating the image. Am I right ? Otherwise, I do not know why it is there as it should be done automatically by zypper. Finally, there is a package group named : multiple choices. What is it ?
