Furthermore, I'm the current maintainer of SBIG Universal Library (v2.0.0), and version 1.3 is obsolete and doesn't work in OpenSUSE 11. Therefore, please remove this package from the repository. (http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-controlfields.html#s-f-Version) In build service it does not work. For example; my project has package which needs kdelibs5-dev which needs cmake (>= 2.6.0~). In Ubuntu Interpid is cmake package version 2.6.0-4ubuntu2, but build service tell me "nothing provides cmake >= 2.6.0~ needed by kdelibs5-dev". There is also no entry for major 259 in /proc/devices, which mkinitrd does not like and aborts with a fatal error. I had to rip out this from /lib/mkinitrd/setup/11-storage.sh near line 177 if [ ! "$blockmajor" ]; then error 1 "Fatal storage error. Device $curblockdevice could ... fi; Subsequently, I ran into bug #447966. All the other modules are missing (i2o_config,i2o_block ....). The i2o_module is loading during boot, but no harddiscs/raids are recognized at the Adaptec Controller. Workaround for me was: - unload the i2o_core module - load the dpt_i2o module - install openSuSE - in the running system before booting again put the i2o_core and the i2o_block modules in /etc/sysconfig/kernel - mkinitrd - remove the dpt_i2o module from same file - modify /boot/grub/menu.lst: /dev/sda... to /dev/i2o/hda... - modify /etc/fstab change /dev/sda.. to /dev/i2o/hda... - reboot System is working now... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

However printing is blocked. If I check in the client for problems by printing a test page to the server, using the cups interface on http://localhost:631 I see the following error message returned for the failed test print: Print file was not accepted (Unsupported format 'application/octet-stream').
