The delay in booting the PC that cannot find its NFS Server, can add up to 12 or more minutes as the boot process stalls waiting to find its NFS Server - The delay in not finding the NFS Server takes so so long whilst it waits to find its NFS Server, but will give up and continue the boot process after say +12 minutes QA. - I am not sure if this is a kernel matter - I seem to think so but will await your advise and specific requests from logs data Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set-up both NFS Server and Client 2.Shut-down the NFS Server PC 3.Boot or shut-down the PC that has NFS Client - you will note the boot/shutdown log halts at both - Just use ESC for both splash screens Actual Results: Above - The issue is the delayed boot process which is greater than 12 MINUTES Expected Results: There should be only a limited time-out value of less than 30 seconds and not 12 minutes which is the case - Hence this bug Note X_64 Hardware and NOT NFS V4 - thanks - :-) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

This works correctly for the Unread search folder. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Create a search folder with a criteria based on "sender contains". Receive new e-mail that matches the search folder. Right-click on Inbox and mark all as read (any of the three choices Actual Results: The unread count goes to zero in the Inbox, but remains in the search folder. Expected Results: Both the inbox and the search folder unread count should go to zero This appears to be a new issue in 12.2, it was working under 12.1. After the update and a reboot I was not able to see my own wireless network, but was able to see the wireless networks of my neighbors in the network manager, when I left click and observe the "connections window". However, when my machine went to sleep (i.e. suspend to ram) and I woke it back up, it was able to see my network again. I also noticed the behavior in my office. I do use kwallet for key management. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot the machine near a network I have used before, and have configured to autoconnect with credentials in kwallet. 2. Await network manager to autoconnect to network. 3. Left click on kwallet icon, and scan for networks. 4. Put the machine to sleep and wake up Actual Results: 1. Boot the machine near a network I have used before, and have configured to autoconnect with credentials in kwallet. 2. Login and await network manager to autoconnect to network (with prompt for kwallet password), doesn't happen. 3. Left click on kwallet icon, and scan for networks, don't see my familiar networks (they are public, i.e. not hidden, and beacon their ssid), but DO SEE unfamiliar networks (unfamiliar in the sense that I've never logged into them, they belong to my neighbors). 4. Put the machine to sleep and wake up - see normal autoconnect. Expected Results: 1. boot machine near familiar network. 2. have autoconnect upon login. I suspect this may be related to bug 768564, but it may also be a Network Manager/KDE issue, due to the fact that it looks like the familiar networks are being excluded from the list of visible networks.
