I do not know about testing, but SuSE did have the Oracle Beta at the NY
linux World on a Compaq Blazer.

Yes, I've seen this on my Lion Qual with SuSE 7.2a RC1 (2.4.4-SMP).
It's an annoying "feature" when I start tests in KDE2 an switch to text
with ALT-F1 (or ALT-F10 to check messages).
