When I try to install SLES 7 RC1 on a Compaq Blazer with its built-in
drives, it claims that there aren't any suitable hard drives to install
on. I tried manual mode and loading the drivers manually, but I get the
Going back to my trusty-old Beta 1 CDs makes it see my disks fine. I
haven't tried Beta 2.
Any ideas? Is this a cpqarray driver issue? Thanks.

I am trying to install suse-ia64-7.2 on one of the ia64 SMP boxes
(Lions). During starting of the installation it is "panic"ing. I was
wondering if there are any known issues with installation. Here are the
details of the machine.
C0 4-way Intel SDV SMP box
Mem: 8 Gb
Disk: 75 Gb
We tried the install on BIOS 76B, 79B and 83B - no luck!
The install seems to go fine on BigSur (Workstations) with C0 processors
and using the same CD's.
I am getting this failure with an Intel Lion and the 7.2 "developers
edition". We have a system with EFI 1.02 and the dual 733mhz chips. We are
installing to a Quantum 9 Gig Ultra160 with partitioning like this:
/boot 64 meg FAT
SWAP 1 Giga
/ 7.4 Gig Reiser
After selecting Default and then Development system, the format goes
through and we get this error on the first package.
