I only receive this message when my wireless card is enabled and successfully connected to my wireless lan (SSID as configured in yast) during boot. I use ndiswrapper with a broadcom wireless modem. I'll attach my hwinfo output. If I'm not in range of the SSID or the wireless card is disabled through the button on the laptop the last time the system was running then ZMD starts just fine. I can enable the wireless card, then use “dialup Networking” and everything is just fine.
