But then it is saved only to memory and wiped out in next step by the Import of samba-server... Because the realm is not present in the profile, it cannot be part of samba-server import map, so it is deleted every time. One solution would be to enhance Mode::config UI, so the value for realm would be manually entered by user (and then present in the xml profile) instead of reading it from the network. But enhancing UI is IMHO something for SP, not for maintanence update. Another way could be to check in the samba-server part if it isn't rewriting some previously imported data (by samba-client). But this looks ugly, going agains the clean principle of Import. Uwe, please comment.
