The translated file is pt_BR and will remain like that, because I cannot translate one in pt totally for sure. So, ask for a patch to when select Portuguese display English file or ask some portuguese guy to translate it. I'm tending to mark this as wontfix/worksforme as actually I show how to improve this. And the pt_BR version clearly says its for pt_BR only, using the word "(Brasil)" to make it clear enough. Actually I suspect that the English has zero legal value as a binding contract, since our organic laws require legal documents, manuals and documentation to be in the native language. SUSE/Novell have commercial operations in Portugal so they should know how it works. The important thing is that people speak Portuguese in the 5 continents, while Brazilian Portuguese is only spoken in Brazil. The current text shouldnt be used for anyone else outside Brasil as it's pretty much obvious that it's directed to a Brazilian audience. We all know there are huge differences in semantics between Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese. For example a 'camisa' in Portugal is a t-shirt, maybe equivalent to the Brazilian term 'camiseta' which doesn't exist in Portugal; While 'camisa' in Brasil is a piece of garment used by women when they sleep. And maybe we can put the license file on "lcn" so it gets a wider audience and translations. Can we do that Karl or coolo? I changed it to LOCAL, then did 1-zypper ref 2-zypper in zypper rpm libzypp glibc udev perl perl-Bootloader yast2-bootloader openSUSE-release libsolv-tools systemd sysvinit-init 3-zypper dup 4-reboot Step 2 caused rebuilding of initrds, but step 3 did not. Reboot result in clock error of UTC offset, same as on the initial boot of the day. This bug was experienced on /. I fixed current clock via date command. Content of current initrd: usr/share/zoneinfo/UTC etc/adjtime etc/localtime bin/warpclock boot/05-clock.sh However, during the update process, /etc/adjtime was changed back to UTC at same instant as /etc/sysconfig/clock was last written. tail of /etc/localtime contains string EST5EDT,M3.2.0,M11.1.0. /etc/sysconfig/clock contains no occurrences of the string --adjtime, only a commented one "...forwarded to adjtime, the file...". Next processes: 1-zypper rl kernel-desktop 2-restore LOCAL to /etc/adjtime 3-chattr +i /etc/adjtime 4-zypper dup # (3 KDE packages plus kernel-desktop-3.4.4-1.6) 5-zypper rm kernel-desktop-3.4.0-3.1 6-reboot This time this bug did not result, but again clock is back to UTC offset error. "Hardware Clock Set to UTC" remains unset in YaST2. Current initrd still contains: usr/share/zoneinfo/UTC etc/adjtime etc/localtime bin/warpclock boot/05-clock.sh No such file /boot/05-clock.sh exists. Where should /boot/05-clock.sh be coming from?
