I clicked through all the defaults. When I tried to print from Evince, it spooled the data correctly but then the printing system said there was an error. This applet/widget sits in the system tray next to the clocks default position. Under test conditions where Yast is not managing the network in favour for Network Manager which is also not managing the network there is a third network control module that cannot manage the Network, With this KDE control Module is is impossible to enter a static IP or Manual IP as the ADD button does not function. I have the suspicion that this application requires a MAC address that has to be entered manually as there is no auto detect Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open KDE Network Control Module 2. Click ADD and select Manual IP. 3.Click ADD on the IP details screen and nothing happens. 4.The whole network is currently not managed by any application in KDE V11.1 Actual Results: No Application manages the Network Connection Expected Results: We need to rationalise how many application can possibly manage the network other than IFUP which cannot currently hold a static IP address. The Management of the Network clearly has not ever been tested by either the application Programer nor picked up in BETA. I have 192 on this machine currently. That should not be. klauncher or something should clean up its messes. I wish linc-cleanup-sockets was also run from time to time, practically every time I run that it cleans up hundreds or thousands of stale socket files, but that's not relevant to this bug. The Burn Properties are quick to grey out active 'Remove Image' Option and all other writing Defaults were chosen not over-ridden. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. This occurs every time for the tested file type and CD RW. Due to so many environment variables it may not faithfully reproduce under development environment at suse.de....etc. 2.Debug output is probably the most useful here 3. Microsoft Outlook expect invites to contain either the "standardc" flag, or the "daylightc" flag. Since Kontact invites do not include this flag, Microsoft defaults to interpreting time sent as standard time. If the local invite time is daylight saving time, Microsoft Outlook increments the invite by one hour. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. The rfc2445 specification is about 10 years old. Apparently, Microsoft updated Outlook with the last Daylight Saving Time changes, and changed the algorithm used to determine daylight and standard time. The old algorithm is actually more efficient than the new. The most efficient algorithm is to determine invite time as a function of time sent and UTC offset, and then adjust this time to local daylight/standard time rules. The invite receiver doesn't really need to know the sender's time zone and daylight/standard time rules. However, the standard requires that this information be sent. And, apparently Microsoft is using the daylightc/standardc flag as its algorithm for adjusting time. The severity of this bug for most users is "normal". However, I am lucky to live in the Pacific Time Zone and can work around this problem by setting my clock to America/Phoenix. America/Phoenix is year round Mountain Standard Time. Until then everything worked fine. Another applications (amarok, kaffeine, vlc) worked fine. TV tuner (AverTV 507) is connected to the line-in of soundcard (audigy4 non pro).
