I just upgraded to Milestone 1 and now it's gone wrong inside X11. Outside X11, console text session everything fine, but inside X11 the @, \ and the # keys display wrong. I am in the UK with a Logitech 104 key keyboard. I have en_gb set in my LANG shell variable. I have tried using sax2 X11 configuration to change the keyboard settings and the test of the keyboard setting seems fine in the little test line provided. However, after trying most of the Logictech keyboard settings and some of the generic settings, the keyboard still isn't correct. I'm using the latest KDE 4.2.2 from Factory repo. KDE needs to be restarted to make playback work again. The other sound applications like Amarok, Skype do work well after resume without restarting KDE. ALSA and Pulseaudio are installed on my system. Many notebooks have errors in the ECDT/DSDT tables in BIOS. With them, the ACPI handling code fails with: EC: acpi_ec_wait timeout. The effect is that nothing ACPI related works - no battery info, no shutdown/suspend, no special buttons. This is 100% reproducible. Sometimes I also see distortions in other situations, but the above scenario reproduces them reliably. Resizing the Kmines window removes the distortions. Once you are at it: The "Pause" button at the top of the window suffers from a misplaced label.
