default setting for Alt+Button1 is "initiate window move"
my preferred setting is to have focus follow mouse, no automatic raise, no
raise on click (all works fine) and raise window on Alt+Button1.
up to 11.1, this worked without problems, i could both raise and move the
window with alt+button1.
in the latest version, compiz-0.7.8-20.1 from X11:Compiz repo, this is no
longer possible - i can set the binding, but the window is not raised on
alt+click.
when i try to bind to alt+button2 (default action is "initiate window resize"),
it works as expected - the window is raised and a resize is initiated
steps to reproduce:
1. install & start compiz, default configuration
2. fire up CCSM, go to General settings
3. in Focus&raise behavior, disable Click to focus, Autoraise and Raise on
click
3. in Key bindings, pick Raise window by mouse (raise_window_button), assign
Alt+Button1
4. in the following dialog, confirm that you want to set the binding anyway
5. try to raise a covered window by alt+clicking, observe that it doesn't work
my system is 11.1, intel core2 duo (x86_64), desktop is GNOME. i confirmed this
problem on NVIDIA GeForce7600 and Intel X3100 GPU's.

You have one or more bugs assigned to you in the Bugzilla bug tracking system (https://bugzilla.novell.com/) that require
attention.
All of these bugs are in the NEW orREOPENED state, and have not been
touched in 7 days or more.
You need to take a look at them, and decide on an initial action.
Generally, this means one of three things:
(1) You decide this bug is really quick to deal with (like, it's INVALID),
and so you get rid of it immediately.
(2) You decide the bug doesn't belong to you, and you reassign it to
someone else. (Hint: if you don't know who to reassign it to, make
sure that the Component field seems reasonable, and then use the
"Reassign bug to default assignee of selected component" option.)
(3) You decide the bug belongs to you, but you can't solve it this moment.
Just use the "Accept bug" command.
To get a list of all NEW/REOPENED bugs, you can use this URL (bookmark
it if you like!):
https://bugzilla.novell.com/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=REOPENED&…
Or, you can use the general query page, at
https://bugzilla.novell.com/query.cgi
Appended below are the individual URLs to get to all of your NEW bugs
that haven't been touched for 7 days or more.
You will get this message once a day until you've dealt with these bugs!

The Dolphin File Manager you have chosen to include into opensuse is very good
- its far better than konqueror being a file manager and web browser.
That aside Dolphin is not stable and will freeze many times - I am getting
closer in being able to reproduce.
In this bug I have a Dolphin complete crash
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Back trace after Dolphin complete crash

>From time to time just about any application Window will freeze and the user is
sent and out of focus warning to either continue or terminate.
Not only has the application Window frozen and issued a warning - until the
user terminates that warning window NO other application will open on the
desktop, however the same opened application is really open and sits in the
task manager. Even an attempt to move the task managers application reference
to the current desktop or another desktop will not display the newly opened
application.
Every attempt to move an application in the task manager, that was opened after
the warning message was issued and not terminated, only brings the warning
message back into focus.
My First suggestion would be to modify and correct the out of Focus Warning and
change warning to capture a backtrace.
If we can change the warning message to include a backtrace we can start to
understand why this is intermittent and what problems that exist in either the
KDE4 Windows Manager or problems with architecture or other Environmental
variables.
Without doing the above, we will never be able to correct the error as it
cannot be reproduced and is so very intermittent, but being devastating in the
problems the freeze Window presents
If this issues has been fixed in 11.0 via online update the the problem is
still present and not fixed.
Please Advise - This bug effects the total KDE Installation of opensuse so
logging it upstream is not going to help anyone.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
Window with title "Search Preferences" is not responding. This window belongs
to application settings (PID=10,494, hostname=localhost).
Do you wish to terminate this application? (All unsaved data in this
application will be lost.)
