For the LONGTMP-directory (presumably this could be /var/tmp), there is no such fine tuning possible, like e.g. "OWNER_TO_KEEP_IN_LONGTMP". However, this drawer is completely filled up on my computer, I cannot even summarily delete files as bash complains about a too long argument. Morever, there are some files in this drawer I don't want to be deleted, especially the KDE cache for my user ID (Favicons and so on). I would like to have some setting to selectively clean the LONGTMP, too. But looking in a problem with another guy I saw this: - I understand that the default gateway can be set by DHCP - Since in /etc/sysconfig/network/dhcp I have by default 'DHCLIENT_SET_DEFAULT_ROUTE="yes"' I suppose that Suse really uses the default gateway that the server sets. - When you use DHCP, in the DNS YaST2 module you have the options "Change Hostname via DHCP" and "Update Name Servers and Search List via DHCP" - When you use DHCP, in the routing YaST2 module you can set the default gateway bbut there isn't any "Update Default Gateway via DHCP" option. So the problem is that the lack of an "Update Default Gateway via DHCP" option when there is the equivalent for DNS is confusing. What an user should think? That default gateway can't be set via DHCP? If he knows is possible he probably will think that Suse isn't able to do it. What if the user doesn't wants to set the default gateway via DHCP but wants to set via DHCP the other network parameters? The same happens on the Acer Ferrari 1000, it's suspend problem is tracked in bug 228344. Needs more testing and fixing of the issues found, for example the broken unload of button.ko. Strictly speaking, it's a video player and not an audio player, but I *think* this worked in the past. It has a menu entry labeled "Movie -> Play Disc 'CD-RW/DVD±RW Drive'", which is selectable, but useless as long as the drive is empty. As soon as an Audio CD is inserted into the drive, the menu entry turns into "Play Disc 'Audio Disc'", but becomes greyed out. If the firewall blocks ports/connections i would like to have an easy interface or warning, that something happens - but i like to configure, which kind of warning are on my interest. If a connection from a local application is blocked, i like to open the firewall for the neccessary port with one click - temporarly or permanent by option.
