[GREEN] Akademy 2010 - attended and all the usual stuff - presented build service and the package generator tool as a BoF and wherever I could, since it was not accepted as a talk :( - there seemed to be actually a number of people interested - talked to Fedora KDE packager who seemed to be interested in the generator too and would consider helping with the Fedora part of it and more uniting our KDE build setups - various improvements in the generator as a result of this - gave a talk about KDE performance again, it was only my backup talk but this one got accepted :-/ - it seems we should try to proceed with the idea of getting our KDE snapshots packages to be co-installable with normal packages, as some upstream developers seemed to like the idea - whatever else I've forgotten already - missed karaoke party, damn it [NEXT WEEK] - prepare new KDE repos in time for 11.3 - finish necessary help.o.o pages for 11.3 - attend two SUSE Labs talks - wiki -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+unsubscribe(a)opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-boosters+help(a)opensuse.org

Gentlemen, I heard that open source geeks share stuff and as a result today I want to share with you one of the gems of my personal scripting for your pleasure. Find attached the script re. If you call it, it opens your editor with a prepared file for the current week, where you enter your report. If no file exists yet, it creates one from a template. If you call it with parameter -l, it opens the file from the last week (use that on monday). With parameter -w you specify a certain week. If you want to use it, copy it into your $HOME/bin and check for two or three personal config variables at the top of the script. If you do not want to use it please avoid telling me that. What I did last week: - created GNOME:STABLE:2.30 project, and sent the community a list of packages we should put there. - caught up with opensuse-project, and participated in the strategy discussion as well as the openSUSE versioning scheme one - more GUADEC fun to prepare Novell presence (hopefully, it's all done now) - went to the RMLL. I'll blog about this as soon as I get the pictures of our booth taken by someone else. But the short story is that it went fine (booth-wise and talks-wise). I think it's the first time openSUSE gets real visibility in a french event! What has been annoying me last week: - it's way too hot!
