Hi,
as I reported that I was working on adopting Roberts theme to Media Wiki
theme, I posted screenshot of the current status on my blog [1]. I
received some feedback (not only on my blog but on IRC as well).
Generally they say that theme is nice, but that it isn't green and it
contains only one little Geeko and that it doesn't look so much openSUSE
at first sight. I'm just forwarding feedback so others will know and we
can discuss.

What I did last week:
- "quickly" implemented the smart cache based on hermes for osc collab.
This was needed since Adrian requested that we stop the brutal way
that downloaded stuff from the build service (which was indeed too
brutal). Ended up taking a bit more time than expected, but it works
great.
- took the opportunity to rework a bit the "get upstream data" part. I
have a good plan about the backend now. I should probably start with
the frontend, though -- good way to dive more into RoR, I guess.
- tried to investigate some hermes issues. Failed to do this alone.
- did some Foundation stuff, but not enough
- received my new laptop, seems to work great so far (although I didn't
switch to it for my work environment yet because of lack of time)
What has been a good surprise:
- Dominique reviewed most of the GNOME:Factory requests. He's amazing!
What has been annoying me:
- realized I had completely forgotten clarity
- felt bad about not being active in the GNOME team -- I don't the team
to start evaporating...
What I plan to do this week:
- catch up a bit with packaging
- maybe find time to start preparing a bunch of maintenance updates for
11.2
- trick darix into accepting my changedevelrequests :-)

- still no work done on 11.3 schedule
[green]
- 2 days off, 2 days meeting
- spent more time in porting to libxml, build service
web feels much faster now
- more checking of logs and trying to figure out what's
slow - a lot is I/O bound on the backend
- worked on factory.o.o backend part
- updated my current perl generated page to use the
new backend format

- RadeonHD problems again regarding load detection on KVM switches
and unknown hardware (RS880) popped up.
- Started to investigate EXA rendering issues in X.Org 1.6.5 which
makes desktop effects more or less unusable accross all hardware
on 11.2. This issue should have been looked after before 11.2 came
out - unfortunately noone had time to deal with this.
- KMS: finished proof-of-concept of KMS integration. Wrote a proposal
for SLE11. Started a writeup for opensuse-factory.
TODO:
- Fix color issue in bootsplash.
- Set up udev rules to ensure AGP modules are loaded before
drm driver.
- Add KMS support to RadeonHD.

- wireshark: updated to 1.2.4, backported security fixes
- gamestore: added new games, applied theme by Robert[1]
- fixing and updating games in "games" repository
- sorting out packages in home:hennevogel:TODO, sent results to darix
- investigating Apotomo widget framework - http://apotomo.de/
- a nice way how to replace partials in Rails application
- each widget behaves like a controller, has its own state and can
render different views depending on the state
- drawback is that widgets don't work without Javascript (they are
being updated wia AJAX) and rewriting existing app to use widgets
is not always straightforward
- hit some problems while using Apotomo in OBS Webclient, demo is not
ready yet :-/
