[zypp-devel] How to use libzypp-bindings to create a sysroot from a repo?

Hi, all i'm using libzypp-bindings to create an MeeGo sysroot, i know zypper command can do this. zypper --root /meego-sysroot ar http://repo.meego.com/MeeGo/builds/trunk/1.1.80.0.20101005.1/core/repos/ia3… core zypper --root /meego-sysroot install -t pattern meego-core zypper can do it, i believe libzypp-bindings also can do it, but unfortunately , i can't find a tutorial for this, so i only can read zypper and libzypp code to understand how to do it. [zypp-devel] No provider of 'patch:kernel-3396' found.

Hi, cgoncalves has pointed out on #zypp that the command quoted in openSUSE-SU-2010:0902-1, https://hermes.opensuse.org/messages/5701081 does not work on 11.3 (with latest zypper-1.4.8-0.2.1.i586): # zypper in -t patch kernel-3396 Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... 'patch:kernel-3396' not found in package names. Trying capabilities. No provider of 'patch:kernel-3396' found. Resolving package dependencies... Nothing to do. It works if the equal sign is used: # zypper in -t patch kernel=3396 Loading repository data... Reading installed packages... 'patch:kernel = 3396' is already installed. Resolving package dependencies... Nothing to do. Kernel seems to be the only patch affected, for all released versions. Other patches, even with multiple versions, are fine.
