Hi, apart from the solver call "resolvePool" ( collect all transactions from the pool, solving this transactions and writing the result back to pool) the solver can work off a given request queue too: /** * Resolve package dependencies: * * The solver works off the given queue and writes back the solution * to pool. * * Returns "true" on success (i.e., if there were no problems that * need user interaction) and "false" if there were problems. In * the latter case, use problems() and later applySolutions() * below. **/ bool resolveQueue (solver::detail::SolverQueueItemList & queue); The queue can have elements which are described in the following classes: base class: SolverQueueItem.h SolverQueueItemDelete.h SolverQueueItemInstall.h SolverQueueItemLock.h SolverQueueItemInstallOneOf.h SolverQueueItemUpdate.h Known problems: - The update and InstallOneOf request does not work correctly. - The error messages are too abstract now for the user. [zypp-devel] a series of patches

I have a series of patches for 4.27.3 (although they would likely apply to later versions). The first one and the third ones are working for sure. I'm not 100% sure about the second one. The patches resolve the following issues: 1. disable the "Pragma: nocache" header which is automatically used by curl 2. don't generate an If-Modified-Since header if we don't have a previous file to work with 3. don't generate a Proxy-Authenticate header if one is not called for The first is probably the most important, as it re-enables the use of a caching http proxy (like squid or others) and corrects Bug 326208. [zypp-devel] new functionality in Fetcher

enqueue, enqueueDigested, and their directory versions now support fetching their checksums from signed index files (SHA1SUMS, content files) which can also be autodiscovered. Could you do this change and submit a new package to the build system, please?
