screensaver activates when i am typing in DOSBox 0.74

Hi, I am using DOSBox for very old DOS-programs. In KDE everything works fine (OpenSuse 11.2 or 11.3). On 11.3 I tested the LXDE desktop and the screensaver activates every 5 minutes when I am working inside of the DOSBox window. Other Linux distributions and/or desktops had the same type of problems (related to the SDL-library?) years ago - and solved them. lxsession, finally fully working without HAL

The package is available into X11:lxde repository as usual. however, hal is still needed by xfce4-power-manager, so if you have a laptop, most probably you want to take this dependency, otherwise, feel free to remove it. It is still a beta and such as it have some flaws, like for example it doesn?t fit into a CD yet. The good news is that this is an hybrid and permanent iso, so you can use dd to copy the iso into your usb pendrive. Please help us testing and reporting bugs and issues you find. LXDE 11.2 Live CD Problem.

Hi Guys, I hope that this is the right place to ask these questions. If not, please could some kind person point me in the right direction. I have just downloaded and burnt the "Open SuSE 11.2 Lxde Live CD" pointed to from the "Open SuSE" web site under "openSUSE Derivatives Wiki". I have checked the sha256sum and it is correct, so I am happy that I have a good download and a good burn on the CD. My problem is when I boot from the CD, everything proceeds as expected until I get to the "Login" screen". At this point I have neither a working mouse or keyboard ! With no way exit all I can do is power off the machine. Suggestions Anyone. The machine is a P4 3.0 Ghz dual core cpu with 1.5Gb ram on a SIS 660 mainboard. Both the keyboard and mouse are PS2. I am currently using "Open SuSE 11.1" with a KDE3.5.10 desktop on this machine without any issues. LXDE problem with monitor setting

Working happily with my LXDE on 11.3RC1 but ran into a problem with the resolution and refresh rate. After boot it shows resolution 1024x768 with a refresh rate of 85. This is above the rate from my monitor supplier. If I change that in the "System, Preferences, Monitor setting" into 1280x1024 refresh auto it gives a much better image and gives a rate from 65, well below the manufacturers info. I have tried in vain to save this setting but found no menu to do it. After every reboot it is the old resolution and refresh rate again. In former openSUSE versions I would go to sax and finish the problem.
