LXDE 11.2 Live CD Problem.
Hi Guys, I hope that this is the right place to ask these questions. If not, please could some kind person point me in the right direction. I have just downloaded and burnt the "Open SuSE 11.2 Lxde Live CD" pointed to from the "Open SuSE" web site under "openSUSE Derivatives Wiki". I have checked the sha256sum and it is correct, so I am happy that I have a good download and a good burn on the CD. My problem is when I boot from the CD, everything proceeds as expected until I get to the "Login" screen". At this point I have neither a working mouse or keyboard ! With no way exit all I can do is power off the machine. Suggestions Anyone. The machine is a P4 3.0 Ghz dual core cpu with 1.5Gb ram on a SIS 660 mainboard. Both the keyboard and mouse are PS2. I am currently using "Open SuSE 11.1" with a KDE3.5.10 desktop on this machine without any issues. Thanks in advance. -- Best Regards: Baron. -- Best Regards: Baron. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+help@opensuse.org

I had the same issue testing the live CD some months ago. Andrea, we've been talking about that issue via IRC that time but in fact I don't remember how we solved this. Unfortunately I have no history about that. I can re-check that with current live CD though I don't know exactly if today or tomorrow. Or perhaps a live CD based on OS 11.3 will be published by then? -- Lutz Thuns openSUSE official member (lOtz1009) LXDE team -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+help@opensuse.org

Sorry about the late reply. I was very busy yesterday. The machine works just fine with all the other Live CD's that I have downloaded from the "OpenSuSE" site. Only the LDXE One doesn't work. Thanks anyway. -- Best Regards: Baron. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+help@opensuse.org

Andrea, are there any Problems preventing the build of a 11.3 LiveCD? The 11.2 one is really outdated by now. -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-lxde+help@opensuse.org
