As of 5.3.18-lp152.60-default the builtin microphone is not available. Video continues to work. It only allows spidf imput in sound..When running previous kernel it will allow the use of the mic/webcam 270 and is still working. Webcam C270) is not listed in pulseaudio. When starting the system with the previous kernel everything is OK. Could it be a problem with snd_usb_audio? On the other hand pressing F6 in alsamixer the mic of the device is listed normaly I have not checked with other computer or USB web camera yet. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. update kernel to 5.3.18-lp152.60-default 2. 3. Rebooted, then microphone is no longer working: pavucontrol simply finds no mic on the input devices tab. I tried to play with pulseaudio profiles / configuration, but found no workaround to restore it. Downgrading the kernel fixes the problem. This is the sound card: $ /sbin/lspci|grep -i audio 00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation 200 Series PCH HD Audio If there is any other detail I should provide, please let me know. The patch needs to be adapted accordingly.
