However, when writing an e-mail, the addresses are not auto-completed from this resource. On the other hand: - Recent addresses and addresses from an LDAP query are auto-completed - All addressbook information is available correctly in kaddressbook Only strange thing: I cannot set the akonadi-resource as the default resource in the System Settings/Personal Information as it remains marked as read-only, so now I have an empty file resource as standard there and an enabled akonadi-google resource. Tested in KDE 4.7.* and 4.8.* (up until 4.8.3). Waited for posting this bug till the rest of kdepim got a bit more stable again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use an akonadi resource as address book 2. Start typing e-mail, try to auto-complete e-mail address from akonadi resource. Is this ok by maintenance? After fighting with kmail (bug 708977), I now have the problem that it only displays very old mails (from january and older). My newer mails are invisible, but (fortunately) still exist in the maildir. Pressing F5 to refresh the folder didn't change anything. This might somehow be a leftover of the short presence of kmail2 in the 11.4 beta phase, see bug 662854. I can test some things if needed, but I'm very interested in a very quick solution. Not really ideal, but effective. I wanted to uninstall the nepomuk filesets, but it was rolled into the kdebase-runtime. However, if I pick rename, instead of renaming them based on the original name and putting them in the destination folder, it renames all but the first one based on the destination folder name and puts them in the next level up. This means the original file names are irrevocably lost and the files end up in the wrong location. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make a folder, call it "test" 2. Enter the folder 3. Make 2 sub-folders, test1 and test2 4. Enter test1, make 5 blank text files, file_1.txt, file_2.txt, file_3.txt, file_4.txt, and file_5.txt 5. Copy those files to test2. 6. Go to test, and change to columns view. 7. Enter test1. You should still see the contents of test in the first column. 8. Select all the files in test1. 9. Drag and drop the files to test2 in the test column 10. Select "Move" 11. It works with a mp3 music player (Sansa). It doesn't work for a key or a SD card. Don't know if it's specific to openSUSE or if it should be sent mainstream. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect and mount a USB device (key or SD card) 2. Launch Amarok 3. Go to local music 4. Check in the device's setup that "Use automatically when connected" is well enabled. Actual Results: It says "0 tracks" and doesn't show any track. Expected Results: It should list the tracks in the device. This function works with a player (Sansa) but not with a normal key. A workaround is to add the device's path to the local collection in the configure dialog of Amarok (or checking "/media"), but it isn't a nice way to do it. This typically will produce no apparent errors during a normal POST process, so the user won't be prompted to go into BIOS to disable it if there is not one present.
