Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set a special command-line option for rpcbind in /etc/sysconfig/rpcbind (e.g. '-i') 2. Restart service (systemctl restart rpcbind.service) 3. Check options for running process with "ps axf | grep rpcbind" Actual Results: => only the default ones ("-w -f") are present. '-i' has been ignored. Expected Results: I would have expected the '-i' to be appended to the default command-line options (giving "-w -f -i"). To fix this bug, it is in fact enough to modify the service file (/usr/lib/systemd/system/rpcbind.service) like this: --------------------<cut>--------------------- [Service] EnvironmentFile=/etc/sysconfig/rpcbind ExecStart=/sbin/rpcbind -w -f $RPCBIND_OPTIONS --------------------<cut>--------------------- (Only quoting the relevant part of the file -- the rest remains unchanged). The user is directed to a shell interface to enter the password to unlock the disk. 12.3 did have this gui directly after the kernel selection screen. For unknown reasons it does not appear to be installed during an upgrade from 12.3 to 13.1. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install opensuse 12.3 with gui (opensuse branded) bootloader grub/grub2 2. upgrade from opensuse 12.3 to 13.1 3. bootloader gui is partly gone: missing gui screen to enter password Actual Results: shell screen (text only including system information) to enter password Expected Results: Graphical screen to enter password during bootloader process. I tend to call it a normal bug: users choosing to use a gui as bootloader are not capable to understand a shell/text only interface including unwanted and irrelevant technical system information. Marked bug as minor. Usually, this will be 022, so Amavis (which runs as user 'vscan') will be able to read them. However, if for privacy reasons the UMASK in /etc/login.defs is set to something more strict (like 027 or 077), the rules will no longer be readable by Amavis. The obvious fix for this is to set umask 022 in the script before running sa-update. It works normally in xfce. After pressing system-> hibernation, i get a black screen with the mouse still working. After pressing something like Alt.Ctrl.Shift+Home (restart enlightenment) everything is restored and works (the system has NOT been hibernated). When pressing the system-> hibernation again, i get a message from enlightenment, stating it is going to hibernate. Then it hibernates OK. This remains working fine. Suspend then also works. (i just found this out when writing this report. I was surprised. I was not sure which keys i pressed, so i tried to reproduce, and suddenly it worked. This was the first time i got hibernation working within enlightenment. Normally it fails.) I have not tested how to reproduce this. Maybe i have to log back in or have tot reboot. I did test this with a clean .e directory. Then the hibernation still gives a black screen (the first time). With Enlightenment, pressing the power button gives a Halt. In Xfce the system then hibernates. In Settings->All->Input->ACPI binding i have bind pressing the power button to hibernation. As mentioned, this gives a Halt instead.
