https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=857493 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=857493#c0 Summary: plasma crash if in web browser widget is shown local text files; and addresses are invisible Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: pier_andreit@yahoo.it QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0 I only tested it with a simple text local file (that in opensuse 12.1 with kde 4.10 works perfectly), becouse it crashes plasma and I have to restart plasma with kbuildsycoca4 and plasmadesktop. if you add web browser widget to desktop and leave it with the standard kde site address it doesn't crash plasma (but in the address bar the address is invisible I suppose becouse black text on black backgroud); but if you drag and drop a simple text file (/home/user/text.txt) it shows the file content but then it crashes (it usually happen from a second to some minutes), I tried to logout before plasma crshes and with the text file shown, but at login the text file isn't shown and plasma crashes again, but the text file is in the bookmarks (where again the text file address is invisible probably becouse white text on white background). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.drag and rdop a text.txt file on a web browser widget 2.wait some minute 3.plasma crash Actual Results: plasma crash Expected Results: the text file is shown and plasma continue to works -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
