I canfirm this.
It's the first since 2 two years that I tried Pulseaudio again, but the result
is still the same as in the past:
It's crap and produces lots of trouble without any real benefits.
It has never ever been working fine on any my 4 machines.
Uninstalled now.

Summary: Yast does not honor list of tabooed packages and

I tabooed several packages (besides others all "remote" packages", avahi (do
not use it) and samba (do not use and need it).
This gives a list of tabooed packages of about 30 rpm-s. Works perfectly fine
over several updates. Then, suddenly, I find that yast "forgets" all taboo
indications and sets all tabooed packages to "automatically installed". I can
then select: all in this list "never install" and the situation turns
normal. And will hold for again....nobody knows how long. You can simply never
trust taboo settings.
I can give you any other indication because there does not seem a "trigger"
that forces that, at least I do not see it.
Reproducible: Sometimes
Steps to Reproduce:
1.you taboo packages
2.taboo will be respected for some time
3.suddenly the entire taboo list will be turned into forced installation
Actual Results:
all tabooed packaged will be set to forced install, sometimes the taboo will
vanish and then only in a second time, if you do not find out, all packages
will be set to forced install.
Expected Results:
All tabooed packages should be respected as never install. If I do not want,
need software it should never be installed without my agreement.

perl ExtUtils::MakeMaker adds an empry RPATH.
Two weeks ago this caused a build failure in factory (for the apparmor package
in my case). In the meantime, the brp checks were relaxed - but nevertheless
this should be fixed in perl's ExtUtils::MakeMaker.
Quoting Guido Berhoerster, from
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-packaging/2012-03/msg00098.

I forgot to add, a patch to do that can be found here:
http://lists.fedoraproject.org/pipermail/perl-devel/2012-January/044951.
-----
It would probably make sense to include this patch in the perl package (but
I'll let the decision up to you - I'm not a perl expert ;-)

crash dump
I'm using the latest KMail (KDE 4.8.1) from KDE:Distro:Factory
When I'm changing the idendity in the mail editor, KMail crashes. I've seen
this more than once, but I'm not sure if it is 100% reproducable, but at the
moment I tend to say it is.
Here's what I did:
- use "reply to mailinglist"
- write the answer
- in the mail editor, change the idendity _that uses a different dictionary_
- KMail crashes
Details about the dictionaries used:
- the originally selected idendity is setup to use the german dictionary
- when selecting an idendity that uses the english dictionary, KMail crashes
- when selecting an idendity that uses the german (= the same) dictionary,
KMail does not crash
The crash dump is attached.

Just updated via zypper dup from 12.3. to 13.1.
I'm using i3 and rotate monitor which I rotate using
xrandr --output DVI-1 --rotate left
This command crashes X and I get back to the login screen (gnome login)
Let me know if I can provide any log files. I'm not sure which ones would be
helpful. Attached is my Xorg.log
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.log into i3 via gnome login manager
2.execute short cut for "xrandr --output DVI-1 --rotate left"
3.X crashes and returns to login screen
Actual Results:

Expected Results:
