When I log out as root a white screen appears. Moving the mouse shows different cursor icons depending of what the mouse sees. I have to press the power button of my pc for a while to shut off by brute force and switch on the pc for reboot. When trying to change the setting "Save files to" to the "Download" directory in home, it still shows that the folder is named "Downloads". When downloading something from the internet, the files will be put in the folder "/home/myname/Download", while the preferences dialog shows that the folder is named "Downloads" with the "s" on the end. I see a very high cpu usage in flash videos and flash applications in general (cpu is constantly around 60-70% usage for firefox, and 30% for xorg with the lastfm player sending some slideshow or youtube movies). The same laptop (a toshiba m400 with an intel 915 video card) with different operating systems (fedora, ubuntu) and flash 10 does not get noticed for high cpu usage. The problem happens both with and without hardware acceleration enabled in the flash plugin. I have the following packages installed flash-plugin-10.0.32.18-release.i386 flash-player-10.0.32.18-2.2.i586 pullin-flash-player-11.2-1.5.i586 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Open a page with a flash application in firefox.
