It offers that information only when downloading packages. This doesn't help at all when the packages have been downloaded in advance of the actual install. Unplugging / replugging the audio-device helps but is annoying, I do not think this is the way it should be. Current Tor Browser Bundle which includes its own custom version of mozilla is supposed to supercede other designs and implementations. Because of current fast-evolving app privatization issues, maybe these bugs should be left unaddressed (see my closing "other" statements below). But, the main issue for TorK is that during setup various errors are generated relating to integrating Konqueror with Tor (other KDE apps do not generate errors but also have not yet been tested). 1. "Unable to find kfmclient" (exists on machine with standard Konqueror install) 2. During "First Run" the following error and the file is nowhere to be found on my machine or provided by any package I can find Library files for "kcm_yast2.la" not found in paths Info for the TorK package installed which was downloaded from software.opensuse.org as an "unstable" package: # zypper info tork Loading repository data... Click on the "Play" button 2. Click on "Anonymous Browsing" with Konqueror You should see the "Unable to find kfmclient" error. Running First Run Wizard 1. Click through each step selecting appropriate steps until arrive at "Configure Konqueror For Normal Use" 2. Click on Configure Konqueror For Normal use" button Actual Results: Errors display as described Expected Results: Konqueror should be able to browse remote files (or websites) Konqueror should be configurable as a valid web browser Although in one case the error complains about unable to find the kfmclient because a path has not been configured to point to that file, I wonder if that should actually be needed. General workaround should be to use the tor browser bundle which supposedly incorporates active research and implementations to protecting privacy. If a similar effort does not exist for Konqueror, I wonder if it should even be enabled and actively available.Depending on how the tor connection is implemented, maybe Konqueror would be better wrapped in something like torsocks. I checked using ldconfig -p (as root) and libpthread was in the cache. I added -lpthread to my gcc command line (changing CMakeList.txt as I'm using cmake) and the executable was linked correctly. I removed cross-x86_64-binutils and the hack in Makefile and now I'm able to link again.
