I am using a "Phonorama" audio - device from ESI. Since I use the new computer the connection to it gets always lost after a while. In /var/log/messages there are many entries as follows: May 26 14:57:18 djunix kernel: [59559.659762] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: xHCI xhci_drop_endpoint called with disabled ep ffff88040454ef80 May 26 14:57:18 djunix kernel: [59559.659765] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: Trying to add endpoint 0x3 without dropping it. May 26 14:57:18 djunix kernel: [59559.825046] usb 3-4: Not enough bandwidth for altsetting 2 May 26 14:57:18 djunix kernel: [59559.825048] ALSA pcm.c:224 2:3:2: usb_set_interface failed It is a "plain" openSUSE 12.1, the kernel is the latest kernel from the update repository. Unplugging / replugging the audio-device helps but is annoying, I do not think this is the way it should be. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. connect USB-audio device to the computer 2. wait .... 3. audio device becomes disconnected Actual Results: Audio device needs unplug / replug operation to work again Expected Results: No device disconnection .... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
