If you have configured a repository on an USB-Stick, that repository will be
unavailable when the stick is not there; that's logical. What's not logical is
that package management first tries to refresh (from) such an offline
repository. Even if you manually select not to refresh that repository, and
mnaually say to skip that repository, software management is unable to install
software.
for example, when using totem to view a ".m2t" file, additional packages are
needed. That installation (via "apper") however fails for the reasons explained
above. Unless the application is restarted, installation is not re-tried.
Manual work-around is to temporarily disable the USB-stick repository, then
restart the application.
Software management should be smart enough to skip unreachable repositories.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure some repository on a USB stick. Unplug that stick afterwards.
2. Use some application that needs additional software packages
Actual Results:
Additional packages cannot be installed, even if the required repositories are
online.
Expected Results:
Additional packages from unaffected repositories should be installed.

When hotplugging an extra USB mouse/keyboard in, Xorg will not make them
usable, i.e. events from these devices will be ignored.
Additionally, switching to tty1 and then back to tty7 makes the new mouse
available, but does not enable the keyboard.
I remember there may have been something regarding AutoAdd in the xorg.conf,
though there is no sign of it now due to the absence of xorg.conf.
hexdump -C /dev/input/event<id for usb kbd> does return data when attempting to
type on the usbkbd from within Xorg, so the hardware is functional.
No new messages are added to Xorg.0.log when plugging in the USB devices.

The package vim-enhanced is installed (vim with python support). The bug is
easy to reproduce: just enter ":py print 'hello'" in vim.
This is really a showstopper, because some usefull vim-plugins are based on
python-scripts (e.g. debugger-plugin for xdebug).
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start vim (package vim-enhanced must be installed)
2. enter ":py print 'hello'", press enter
Actual Results:
Vim crashes with "Vim: caught deadly signal ABRT"
Expected Results:
Execute the python script, in this case print out "hello"

Since vconsole-setup fails, several major services that depend on it don't

There is workaround for me. I has switched to sysvinit.
Please, tell me how can I produce additional useful information to fix this?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Copy above example files to /etc/systemd/system
2. systemctl start time.socket

4. netcat localhost 13
5. Make sure /etc/hosts.* allows access to daytime, or remove TCPWrapName from
service
6. netcat localhost 13
Mo 21. Nov 12:56:33 CET 2011
Actual Results:
/var/log/messages contains segfault message
Apparently, openSUSE doesn't ship any socket-activated services using
TCPWrapName. At least I haven't found any on my system. And it seems that the
segfault only occurs when the service would have been denied, anyway.
That's why I chose severity "Normal", not "Major".
