This is correct. I s2ram while at home, then travel to the office. At the office, I insert the laptop into a docking bay, then resume. Once resumed, resolv.conf looks like this: ### /etc/resolv.conf file autogenerated by racoon of novell-ipsec-tools! # Process id: 3146 ### search <home_domain> provo.novell.com nameserver 10.0.0.254 nameserver <office_ns1> nameserver <office_ns2> This is clearly not correct. 'rcnetwork restart' doesn't fix the problem. I'm just trying to understand how the /etc/modprobe.d/50-sound.conf file was loaded, and I stumbled upon this code when I did an "grep -i modprobe * " in the /etc/init.d directory. My developement postfix does not use encrytpion and the result from the postconf command on line 130 is "$smtp_tl_cert_file", and $smtp_tl_tl_cert_file is unset. The test on 131 is passed, and the value of DIR on line 133 becomes "." and 134 becomes "cpifnewer $smtp_tls_cert_file ./." with nothing in $smtp_tls_cert_file. There was a similar problem several years ago. Since it is deleting files, I would suggest that cpifnewer does some basic sanity checking. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enable the boot.multipath and multipathd services 2. Restart the machine Actual Results: Neither service can start. The strange thing is that the "open-file-dialog" works if I use it just to open a file within Firefox itself. When I try to do that from within Zotero, nothing happens. The problem is clearly related to the KDE-integration, since without it (after deinstalling mozilla-xulrunner191-kde4), everything works as it should. (My Firefox-version is 3.5.3, Zotero version is 1.10., KDE is 4.3.2. There are several things just 'broken' (well, it does work, but read for yourself): - The workflow is distrupted with the tabs Add / Remove / Update / Undo. I think it's the only application where 'actions' are grouped in tabs. This is completely counter-intuitive. And it distrupts workflows when going through a list of installed apps, selecting updates, you can't just select a package for removal anymore: you first need to switch to the -> remove tab. After the entire selection, clicking next changes the button text to 'Sure?'. This is also not very expected and at first glance appears that no action is going to happen. It's a nice playful way, but anything else than what a user would expect. Absolute path to 'rosegarden' is '/opt/kde3/bin/rosegarden'. Please check your $PATH variable to see whether it contains the mentioned path. 4. When I start rosegarden with /opt/kde3/bin/rosegarden, an error dialog box "Couldn't start the sequencer" appears. 5. When I dismiss that message, I get the following warnings: Helper programs not found .. The following features will not be available: * Export and import of Rosegarden Project files * Notation previews through LilyPond .. you should install the following additional programs: * The Rosegarden Project Packager helper script * The Rosegarden LilyPondView helper script These do not appear to be available in the standard 11.2 repos, although I did manage to find them in the Packman repo. 6. Rosegarden seems to require the "jack" daemon to be running. Sometimes I get a message to that effect. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install 11.2 M8 with default KDE desktop 2. Install rosegarden4 3. Start rosegarden Actual Results: It took some hunting, but I did manage to get everything working. When I get a chance, I'll document what I did for the wiki. However, if the package is already installed 'make' tries to create new certificates and fails for whatever reason. 'bootstrap' then re-creates the ca therefore breaking everything. IMO - bootstrap should not be run on update at least. Installed from openSUSE-KDE4-LiveCD-Build0308-i686.iso (M8) on an Acer D250 netbook (confirmed also on a desktop with an ASUS M3N-H/HDMI motherboard). The iso's md5sum was good. The installation is missing all the files in /usr/share/doc/packages/cups (the directories are there, but are empty). The string '/usr/share/doc/packages/cups' was not found in the YaST-> Software-> Software Management-> Search in 'File list' function. Replacing the /usr/share/doc/packages/cups directory contents with the files from an 11.1 installation fixed the problem. Selecting Update of the 'cups' package in YaST (from oss repository) also installed the files (the 11.1 files were deleted beforehand). It would seem that the files are included in the 'cups' package in the oss repository, but not in the openSUSE-kde-11.2-livecd-kde-read-only.i686-2.8.0 image on the M8 iso. The attached image shows the screen rendering.
