Many current perl modules need a newer Test::More because the shipped version does not support the done_testing method. Most notably Catalyst needs a newer Module::Pluggable as well. Due to the module search path in openSUSE's perl package, it's not possible to supply packages updating these modules. Thus it's not possible to package a lot of perl modules, since their dependecies cannot be matched. I've talked to Stephan Kulow, Adrian Schröter and Christopher Hofmann about this problem and the solution we came up with was patching newer versions of these two modules into a perl base package which I've done in my repo at home:niner9:perl. To get the packages out of my home repo into devel:languages:perl, we would need to move the perl package there as well which is not possible, because there already is one. So the only option would be to push an update into the distribution perl package. I'm attaching packages to do just that. Though it isn't exactly in the scope of stablility and security updates, it would help tremendously with packaging more and newer perl modules. Module::Pluggable does not have any incompatible changes, only bugfixes. And Test::More should not have any influence on running code and is used only for development. Any developer would want a newer verion of this module anyway. So is there a chance of getting this into an update? I tried to select a minimal text-based install. That did not work either. Actual Results: When the installer get to installing the bootloader, the progress bar freeze at 0% and the overall progress bar also freezes. The computer does not resond to either keyboard or mouse input. I have to shut it down hy holding down the poer button. Expected Results: The installer should have installed the bootloader and rebooted the computer to finalize the installation. I can install it on my HP Pavion M9000T Media PC fine. The change for adding WenQuanYi bitmap song is done by me. I've just added it as a replacement of FZSongTi which is now unavailable in openSUSE caused by license issue. So I suggest WenQuanYi bitmap song.
