Mail notification plug-in of Evolution 2.30.1.2 does not work at all. No sound and even no blinking icon and no pop-up message when new message arrives. I have another PC installed Gnome desktop on 11.3 (32-bit) almost with the same software package configuration, but in contrast to above, mail notification for evolution works perfect with all aspects.
