This used to work in older SuSE versions and works on other distributions. It also works fine when I compile the latest (unpatched) upstream rsync sources and use the resulting binary. The result with OpenSuSE 11.1 rsync is that it tries to locate the files "/home/myusername/jenny/somedir/somefile" and "/home/myusername/hans/otherdir/otherfile", meaning it ignores the source directive from the rsync command line and interprets all paths relative to my $HOME - this contradicts the documented behaviour and the actual behaviour in all operating systems except OpenSuSE 11.1.
