Summary: Yast-Partitioner will not "label" a swap partition

I'm trying to "label" all my partitions and update fstab to reference them
instead of /dev/sda style nomenclature.
I'm trying to do it via the yast2-partitioner.
Worked fine for a couple ext3 partitions, but when I tried to do the same for
my swap partition, I get:
Error
Failure occurred during following action
Setting label on /dev/sda1 to swap
Error -3011
I assume /dev/sda1 is in use as my swap device, so maybe that is the issue?
I consider this a relatively important bug because on every distro upgrade it
advised me (and many others) to quite having /dev/sda style references in
/etc/fstab and we need a simple way to implement that request.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.yast2 - partitioner
2. click + beside hard drives
3. click + beside /dev/sda
4. highlight my swap partition
5. click edit
6. click fstab options
etc.
Actual Results:
Error -3011
Expected Results:
label applied to the partition and fstab updated to reference this.

bluetooth mouse not detected
Two computers, two identical BT mice (dell, 4-buttons + wheel).
Dell E6500 (64bit OS) -- BT works even when installing system, just right away
(except for wheel, and extra buttons)
Dell D610 (32bit OS) -- mouse is never detected, and simply does not work at
all, nothing.
The only difference I can see (except for mice working), is that with the same
settings (KDE3.5.10 set) for D610 hci_usb was installed additionally.

Both debian and Ubuntu are using a libtool patch{1} that sets
link_all_deplibs=no on ELF systems, this will help a lot reducing unedded
library dependencies in packages.

I attached a Cannon USB scanner and went to Yast>Hardware>Scanner to configure
it.
This Yast Model consumes vast system resources and 10% mac CPU and as Much
Physical RAM as it want to constrict the driver database. Auto detection took
over 2 Minutes.
Once the scanner Model is auto found I edited the selection to ensure the most
appropriate selection - again System Resources were swallowed up like nothing
on earth. This process took over 2 Minutes
Once the List of Drivers were displayed I entered a search string which again
started to devour more resources again taking over two minutes.
Once Again selecting the "Show Complete List" took over 3 mins and consumed
more resources.

I am sure we dont need 1 Yast module to be 1 able to access seemingly
unrestricted resources and
I am sure we can either index the data base better to cut down searches and
possibly consider using a bubble sort rather than straight index sort.
The PC has been processing "Show complete List for over 5 minutes now and
available RAM has dropped to 580MB and going down

I get the read display "failed" for the step "Unmounting file systems" at the
end of the shutdown process.
Is there any relationship to the issue "root partition does not get unmounted
at reboot" (bug #414236)?
I have got the impression that these steps were performed faster on the
previous software release for openSUSE 11.0.

Hi,
I wondered why openSUSE 11.1 didn't switch automatically to CET summer time.
After doing a little bit of research (collegues and google), I found out, that
for an automatic switch between summer and winter time I need to check
"Hardware Clock is Set To UTC".
But that shows me an incorrect time, which I need to adjust manually.
For example:
Last week (winter time) the clock on my machine was set to 11:00.
When I turned my machine on today the clock was still set to 11:00 although
according to the offical summer time it should be set to 12:00.
When checking "Set Hardware Clock to UTC" the clock showed 14:00, which doesn't
correspond to the "offical" time.
Is there any way, how to make the hardware clock switch automatically between
summer and winter time?
If there is a way, it should be make more clear to the user.
I would like to make some suggestions about that, but therefore I need to know
to more about the workflow :-)
Thanks in advance and have nice day!
Martin

Ie for whatever reason the patch for hal is installed but the installed package
